Other reviews regarding this branch seem very accurate following my own personal experience. Front desk staff member must win the award for "Best Blagger Of The Year", reluctant to even try to help with anything and instead made everything up to fob off the customer. Simply useless! Go to Enterprise, it's only a few doors down.
Would advise you to use someone else if possible. Promised collection on Friday, waited and no one turned up or even bothered phoning to explain delay. Rang Saturday morning and phone rang for 10 minutes no answer. Had to finally drop car off myself or would probably still be waiting all weekend to sort out simple collection .
I wouldnt even give them 1 star if it was an option. They did nothing but mess us around. Kept us in for 2 days waiting for a car which finally arrived from a branch miles away minus fuel. We had the same issues with collection of the car. Nobody collected when they should. Finally showing up 3 days later without any notice in normal clothing, getting all shirty when I requested identification. They blocked my neighbor in on her drive and was rude to her when she requested they move. The icing on the cake was today when I was sent a bill in the post for fuel which was never in the car in the first place. Trying to speak to the Stockport branch manager is an impossible task. In fact trying to speak to anyone there of any authority is an impossible task. Take my advice- avoid this company! Its really not worth the hassle they put you through.
Booked a car for today at 9am. Booking was made by my insurance company on Sunday afternoon. It's now 20 to 3 and still no car. Been told 'no later that 11' and then 'no later than 2' I was then told they're still waiting on cars to be returned from Rochdale and it could be another 40-60 minutes. They told me that they had taken on more business than they could accommodate. Piss poor. Still waiting. Had all day yesterday and nobody thought to inform me. And of the 4 times today I was told they would call me back 3 times I never received a call back. Nearly 6 hours late and no nearer to getting the vehicle
Booked a van online with these jokers for a busy working week. After receiving a confirmation email, I arrived at this office just to queue for 40min and find out I have No vehicle, No explanation, No apology and now chasing a refund.. The only dependable service Europcar can offer you is a long wait at there offices
