My dog has epilepsy and not only are his epiphen tablets cheaper here than at my previous vet, but the emergency vet is only in Cheadle Hulme, before it was miles away in Walkden. The reception staff are amazing at making sure that none of his other treatments e.g worming and flea, interfere with his epiphen and they give great advice. Jim has always tried to keep costs down for me and doesn't perform any unnecessary or invasive tests. My dog actually likes coming here whereas he was ridiculously nervous at the previous vets. I HIGHLY recommend.
Friendly, helpful staff so I always feel confident that my dogs will be well looked after. My family has been taking our pets here for years and I can't recommend them enough. I have a very reactive dog and they always make sure I can bring him in when no other dogs are there. Most recently taking my younger dog in for an operation they charged a really reasonable price and also kindly cut her nails for free!
I would not recommend for rabbits. He does have experience performing spaying rabbits or neutering them I believe which is what I think the person above refers to. However he is not a rabbit savy vet so I would not recommend him for that. We do own a cat and I have used Jim for atleast 10 years for our cat and have been extremely happy with him hence the 4 star rating. We do have a rabbit but I wouldn't take our rabbit to him unless it was something minor like getting yearly shots.
opening hour are handy, vet seem to know what he was talking about, took our dog in for m.o.t all good !
Took great care of our rabbits when they were 'done' and were competitively priced. Would recommend for rabbit owners
