Really nice traditional style pub. Good range of food. A selection of Robinson's Beer. Friendly welcoming staff. Only slight snag is finding a car park can be fun.
What a shame. Great looking pub, well looked after. Real fire, not used. A Robinson pub, 300yds away from the brewery. No beer. How the hell can a pub owned by a brewery have no beer on the same street as the brewery. Sort of tells you more about the the brewery. Great staff, but obviously working with both hands tied behind their backs. Want some advice Robinson? Stick a manager in there, take it in house and make sure the closest robinson pub to the brewery ALWAYS has robinsons beer on draught, even if it's losing your multi million profit making company a small amount of money..... Shame on you.
Great atmosphere. Staff are friendly and welcoming.
Lots of character inside the bar with many historical features. Food is good with substantial portions. The ribs are stupendous. Good for groups as they can easily rearrange tables.
