Great bar, they've always got a fantastic selection of beers on tap! If you go in the afternoon, there's a butchers next door to grab a pie.
Great selection of beers, and good customer service. Other customers can be a bit eager to take your seat though, even if you're just getting another drink!
Banging craft beer bar and bottle shop. Very active in the craft beer community with regular events, pop ups and meet the brewer days. Ever changing selection of keg and cask beers, most of which are generally delicious. Similarly with the bottle/can choices for taking away although they can be tad pricey. Friendly staff and the owner is always up for recommending something new based on your tastes. Tiny gem of a bar.
We called in by chance and it was a very nice place. The staff and the atmosphere were excellent. Very good choice of beers for such a small place. Well done Heaton Hops. However!!! In the 45 mins we were there two people had accidents with the dodgy arrangements of two barrels and a plank to provide outside seating. Twice the planks and barrels parted company and twice the individuals ended up on the floor! Glasses in hand beer on the floor or on their clothes! Nothing to do with the beer being drunk! It may look romantic and traditional but this is 2018...
