I used to go to this cinema as a young girl with my family. I left the area and haven't been here for over 30 years. Tonight I returned with my best friend, who I've known since i was a young girl. This place hasn't changed 1 bit and this was such a welcoming sight. It brought back so many happy memories, including the interval and the ushers with the ice creams....classic. I will be returning here as often as I can, this has become my favourite cinema....again. The only disappointment was the sweets didn't come in a box like they used to lol.UPDATEI have been back here a good few times since my 1st visit and absolutely love it. I went with my partner recently and he thought it was amazing. I requested particular seats as my partner is 6ft 5" and we got what we asked for which we were impressed with. One point I forgot to mention was the ticket price. It's 5.50 each to get in. My daughter and her dad went to one of those multi screen places to see the same film as us and it was 10 each to get in, luckily her dad had a deal of buy 1 get 1 free. We won't be going anywhere else from now on.
Great little picture house. At half time we got ice creams will be back staff were all good thanks for a good night'.
Excellent ,Small but Welcoming with Friendly staff.Will definitely be coming here from now on.Great Prices. This venue wins Hands Down over the bigger places.There is a car park nearby with great prices, it cost us 80p for parking.
Absolutely wonderful time staff very pleasant always try to fit you in even if fully booked we go every 2 weeks highly recommend
Excellent. Just the same as when I used to go as a child many years ago. Isn't it great to have an intermission and ice creams are only 1. Its like stepping back in time before all the multiplexes arrived charging ridiculous sums to take the family to the cinema.
