George Ball & Son deserve the best award that could be ever bestowed for the way they arranged, supported and guided myself and family through a traumatic situation. Due to the unexpected passing of our loved one, their compassion and service went way beyond what I ever expected. Everyone at George Ball & Son has been incredibly wonderful. Let me tell anyone wanting to use them, do it in the knowledge that they will help you all the way, with dignity and respect. The Chapel of Rest (whilst heartbreaking to see your loved one there) is a beautiful and peaceful resting place. We had a great service from George Ball & Son. They were so considerate and empathetic to all of the family during the difficult time we were going through. They made all the arrangements so easy and took so much of the burden away from us, so that we could focus on grieving for our mum. We could not thank them enough. Even after the funeral, they continued to assist us.
Daniel and Margaret managed our father's death and the celebration of his life with efficiency and great sensitivity. We always felt informed, but never rushed or hassled, and all our choices were respected and followed. They helped to make a difficult time so much easier, and enabled a day that was all about our Dad. We very much appreciate that.
I didnt have many dealings directly with George Ball and Son at the time of my aunts funeral because I was consumed with grief like the rest of my family; however the funeral itself was beautiful. Long story , difficult to explain but after her cremation her ashes remained with George Ball and Son for a very long time ( painful memories, hard to accept the loss) however they kept her ashes safe for all that time and were gracious and caring every time I spoke with them leading up to the collection of her ashes; and for that; for looking after her for all that time I will be forever grateful. I would recommend this company/ funeral home because they treated me with the care and sympathy you would hope for in these circumstances and I cannot fault them at all. Thank you all. Caroline
Excellent experience, from when I initially called I spoke to Daniel and he did everything with us from start to finish and just took care of everything, they booked us in a few days later when no other director could hold the funeral for a few weeks. Daniel was really flexible and considerate, asking all our preferences and ensuring we understood how everything would work and also took care of everything. He suggested an excellent officiant Clive who was perfect also. Would highly recommend this company they understood everything we wanted and madr the whole thing very simple and easy for us, thank you!!
