A very big thank you for the manner in which Kerry Sharples took control of a complex leasehold sale following probate that had been drifting and got it to the completion stage. Her proactive, down-to-earth approach coupled with her drive and regular and prompt communication was very much appreciated in getting the sale over the line.
Could well be leaving us homeless! been told today could be another 2 weeks till completion (even though payment was made last week as we were told to do so) We do not have that much time and they know that, this has been going on since early October. Takes ages to get through if at all to anyone on the phone and emails are so sparse, basic and responses have to be prompted (including today's when i asked for an update). As first time buyers this leaves us with very little confidence. :(
Our solicitor Jan was good at keeping in touch by calls and emails. We did have a few problems to begin with as we were communicating via a secretary/assistant and they were obviously fairly new but once we were dealing directly with Jan everything was smooth and we got sorted for buying our first house quickly.
Big thanks to Edwinah for dealing with a house purchase for me recently. She always responded to my queries promptly in a very calm and professional manner. The paperwork she sent me was clear, easy to understand and I was able to complete the purchase at very short notice and unexpectedly at the request of the sellers.
