An absolute nightmare getting through to the moody receptionist on the phone. Adam said i was too young for a filling, even though i already have several. Subsequently I have left Mydentist poynton and i still have tooth ache, time to find a dentist who know what their doing and are able to treat tooth ache!
Just moved to Kate whom I can quite frankly say is the best dentist I have had in years. She immediately put me at ease and has such a lovely and genuine nature which instantly relaxes patients. She made me feel confident with everything she said and did. I had to see her twice within a week and on each occasion she dealt with me professionally. Her assistant Harry is also an asset telling jokes and making me laugh in between treatment, they make a great team. I never thought I would say this but I am looking forward to seeing them both again.
Not been to the dentist in quite a while. Dentist Adam Hague made me feel comfortable and relaxed and Im no longer petrified of going. Receptionist is lovey and the place is spotless.
Did not feel comfortable at the dentist at all. The staff at reception were not unfriendly but not very welcoming either. All staff including my dentist were very busy chatting in the corridors about personal things which would be absolutely fine if I would have at least been acknowledged. The dentist was gentle but seemed extremely bored whilst talking to me and I did feel as though , I was possibly an inconvenience rather than a patient.
Went for my first dental check-up in a while, knowing that there was a lot which needed to be done! I was having trouble finding an NHS dentist in my area (Davenport) so had to cast the net a little wider, but I'm so glad I did. My new dentist, Kate, was patient and reassuring throughout, giving me lots of information about the treatment options available to me. Many people are nervous about the dentist, myself included, but Kate couldn't have set my mind at ease more effectively. The staff on reception were helpful and polite, and the practice itself is fresh and modern. If you're struggling for NHS spots around Stockport, this place should be a candidate!
