Very nice place to stroll around. Good for Wheelchairs, Trolleys etc. Disabled friendly cafe, good choice of food, snacks etc.
What a lovely little caf! The atmosphere is welcoming, the food is great, and contrary to other reviews, I would say incredibly reasonably priced. There were two of us who had lunch, we both had hot food and a drink each, and it totalled just over 12. Not too bad! The caf is both dog and children friendly, and is run by Pure Innovations, a charity providing help to members of the local community, "helping them to create fulfilled lives with a sense of purpose and belonging". Can't really fault the place, and great views over the lake. Lovely afternoon out!
Lovely cafe after a very nice walk along the river. Delicious cakes and coffee well worth a visit
A visit here has become a ritual with my little girl and wife. We feed the ducks first, which is a great experience that my little girl loves, although you can get rather crowded with geese and pigeons. We take a walk around the smaller of the two lakes and as we get into the trees on the way back she starts saying"cake" once back into the open she takes us into the cafe where we always have a brew and a cake. The lemon muffins and lemon cake being a favourite, but some of the others look mighty tempting! Just wish it was a little cheaper.
A friend took me today for a walk round as I've never been before and it was a wonderful place to walk round as there are paths and wooded area to walk through. There is also a Weir and as you walk round you are walking around water with lots of ducks and swans on, truly beautiful.There is also a cafe where you can get refreshments from with tables outside Well worth a visit
